Roundtop Recap…

We will have been home a week tomorrow. It's been such a whirlwind, that it seems like only yesterday we pulled up in the driveway exhausted.  We're all unpacked, unloaded, decorated and fortunately selling things every day.  Business is good!

We enjoyed a couple of special treats while we were away.  First, we got to officially meet and spend some time with Maryanne Flaherty and her husband Peter with

Beadboard UpCountry

in Brenham, Texas.

Maryanne and I communicate through our blogging and we always enjoy popping in her store while we're in town.  We met Peter last spring but Maryanne was out in the fields shopping.  This time we arranged a meeting in advance and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.  Her store is lovely and we were really impressed with the Arte Pura linens that they have an exclusive on in this country.

We always visit

Carolyn Westbrook

at Zapp Hall while in Roundtop.  We've purchased several things from her over the years including her wonderful linen Euros.  She has just recently published a new French Country design book.

Carolyn was at Marburger on Tuesday selling and signing her book.  We picked up several copies.

I've promised a few pics of some of our fabulous finds.  Lots of things have already sold.  We're really grateful for the confirmation that this truly was an outstanding trip.

This is a very small sampling of the finds we brought home after eight very hot days combing the fields.  Come to Fabulous Finds and see it all in person.  I'm sure there will be something you just can't live without!   I've been doing all this talking, and now  I'm just  dying to know.  What do you think?  It's your turn.

Let's talk!
