This month we are to blog about either our favorite Christmas ever...or one that we would fantasize about...
This didn't take much thought for me, because I try very hard to live in the moment...and every year, regardless of the circumstances is going to be my very favorite...It's fun to relive memories...but we can't go back, and as hopeful as I am for tomorrow...today is all we really have...

So with that being said...here's the plans for our family this Christmas... We've been gathering inspiration ... simple, natural , not over done... it's what we're drawn to. Natural greens and lot's of cheery red...
It's not just about Christmas day...it's a season...
First we've been decking the halls...

There are gifts to be bought and wrapped...each one with care...

It's time to indulge...
Baking to be done...and candy to be made...
Heavenly Trash is always a hit...
Love pulling out those favorite hand written recipes ...

There are dinners and parties to be planned...
We recently set this table for a Chenal Country Club function...it will inspire entertaining in my own home this season...

We'll be attending parties too...
We'll need hostess gifts...

One of our favorite things about this season are those casual get togethers in the homes of friends and family...we love to see how others decorate too...those in home gatherings are so cozy and fun...

We'll not be doing anything grand this year... so we won't need a driver...

No, nothing flashy for us this year...just good food, good wine and good friends...Simple fresh decorating...and lot's of impromptu gatherings...
Most importantly we hope to spend a considerable amount of time reflecting on the the real meaning of the season...and the many things that we are thankful for...

We want to take this opportunity to tell all of you...that we are indeed very thankful for you. We appreciate each and every follower...and appreciate the time that you take to stop by and support what we are doing.
From our house to yours...Merry Christmas to all of you.
It's your turn. Let's talk!
