Sunday Supper...Chicken Marsala

While visiting some of our favorite blogs Saturday morning...Tina with The Enchanted Home inspired our Sunday Supper with her delicious take on a classic... Chicken Marsala..

It looked so delicious...I just had to try it.

 Back to Sunday Supper...

For the basic recipe...I used one from Tyler Florence. Click here for the recipe.

Tina's tips make this look so delicious and easy...we just love a recipe that can be prepared ahead and then has some oven time after your guests arrive. So much easier than everything having to be done at the last minute...

Add some butter...

Throw in a little chopped fresh parsley...

The chicken has already been dredged in seasoned flour and browned...

ready to pop in the oven and bake for 45 minutes...

Looks amazing doesn't it???

Our favorite simple pasta will make the perfect side...

Whole wheat thin spaghetti cooked according to the directions.

Saute  a few tablespoons of butter with a little olive oil and fresh garlic.

Coursley chop a small bunch of basil and parsley.

Toss together the pasta and garlic butter mixture.

Add the fresh herbs and pecorino and feta cheese.

Salt and pepper to taste.

The table is all set...we just have to eat outdoors while we can...
