Providence Design...What We've Been Up To...

The Sister's are really, really busy...I mean work in the tub kind of busy...

And I should have said first that we are very thankful  to have a job that we love so much...We are excited to get up every morning and do exactly what we love to do!

Unfortunately our schedule has not left a lot of time for blogging lately...

Sketchy at best, we thought you would enjoy some  random pictures to give you a peek at our days...

We're working on a new home in Chenal Downs that Parkinson Building Group is building.  David has already moved to town with his job while Katherine is still in Alabama where their daughter is in school...We are collaborating via email and texts...with meetings when Katherine comes to town.  Here we were working out details  while Katherine joined us via face time as we walked through the house...

Just look at that view...Huge floor to ceiling windows in the family room will frame it perfectly.

We recently completed a re-do of the hearth room in this home. Thee client's  are so happy with all the changes that we're in the process of writing a proposal for updates through-out the entire home.

This has been an amazing experience...Another build with Parkinson Building Group.  These home owners are all in for authentic and unique.  The chance to really get creative and push the design to the limits has been both challenging and fun.

Sister was really shaking waiting for me to take this picture...We've had these in the warehouse for a while, just waiting for the perfect spot..

There are just too many details to mention but a few at this point...We've been shopping for this job for quite some time...

This gorgeous piece of iron will be mounted on a rock wall above the custom marble sink in the powder room.  We're having a round mirror banded in iron to mount on the  panel...It's going to be fabulous!

Doors we purchased for the office and dining room at Round Top in the Fall...

This fabulous piece... also from Round Top will go in the kitchen.  We'll have so much more to share.  Looking for a late Summer move in.

Closets...closets...closets...Every girl's dream is to have a wonderful closet...This is great inspiration.  We are working on two separate closet renovations right now...The planning is so much fun.

These clients are adding on to their home and expanding the dining room.  It will be big enough for a large limestone fireplace and baby grand piano.  We're excited to incorporate this paneling with recessed storage behind...Won't this be awesome?

We met Jenna Johnson from South Dakota via our blog over a year ago...We've completed her Master bedroom...just finishing off a few details along with her Master bath...and are now working on her kitchen dining...This is a story board that we created at the beginning of the process.  We're now ready to order chairs and fabrics, fabricate window treatments and have a side board painted that we found for her. We can't wait to frame those windows with panels and introduce some lighter fabrics into the space.

The inspiration board for her bath...We'll have the bench fabricated locally and ship it with everything else.  We had all of her bedding done here as well and shipped to her along with other furniture pieces. We  found the shipping charges to be very reasonable.

This is  a huge project. The home is located in the historic addition in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Our client bought the house newly renovated as far as kitchen, bathrooms etc. The entire home for decor is pretty much a clean slate and will be decorated with Cottage Style furnishings.  Except for a few existing pieces we'll be placing all new furniture.  We are doing window treatments , custom bedding, accessories and rugs through out the entire house.  We've been planning, shopping, ordering and working with fabricators for several months.  We hope to complete the entire installation in a week at the end of June.  This is a major job with countless details.  We are so excited.  Right now, the plan is for the client to go to her beach house for the week, while we stay in her home and work late  into the nights for a fun reveal when she arrives home.

A peek at her Master bedroom board...much, much more to follow...

We do a lot of sourcing for clients all across the country.  We bought these doors for a client in Louisiana at Round Top a few weeks ago...They shipped out  along with several other things we've found for her on Monday. Our online store is growing as well. We are in great need of a new warehouse, and  hoping to take possession of a new space the end of June.

Sister is really thinking here...We were designing a custom chandelier for a client in Dallas.

I told you this post would be a bit random...

These clients moved in last Summer but we've been working on some last details to get ready for a photo shoot with At Home in Arkansas in July.  The home will be featured

in the November 2013 issue.  This is one of our favorite projects to have worked on.

We're trying to finish up a home for a couple that recently moved here from Chicago before their family arrives for Memorial Day weekend... We'll choose paint colors for a new construction home tomorrow.....We're working on plans for a home to be built in the country and  will meet Monday to work on front elevations...also meeting with a new client on Monday to present plans for her re-model.

Such are our days...lot's of different projects...hundreds of details...But we are detail girls and wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm exhausted just talking about it all...How about you?

It's your turn.  Let's talk!
