We are an interior design firm located in Little Rock, AR. Our style can be described as a classic mix of traditional and soft modern lines, using both soft colors and playful patterns. Every project differs as we work to create a space that reflects our client’s personal vision, budget, and lifestyle.

Our work reaches beyond just beautiful design. We love connecting with people, and we strive to develop relationships where each client feels heard and at ease as we work together to make the vision for their home become a reality.  We know that design decisions can feel overwhelming, and it’s our goal to not only ease your stress but to make the process enjoyable. At Providence, we are committed to working hard and having fun while doing so! 

In addition to our design services, we have a beautiful showroom that offers everything from furniture and upholstery to art and specialty pieces that give each room it’s own touch of “Wow!”

After obtaining a computer science degree and spending the first part of my career as a programmer, I discovered my passion for design when I began designing personal construction projects. I left my corporate career behind in 2018 to accept a Design Assistant position under Mona Thompson Phelan, co-founder/owner of Providence Design. I worked closely with Mona every day for 6 years, designing everything from a room refresh to the countless details of new construction. The exposure and knowledge that I gained during that time was invaluable and something that I believe to be God-ordained.  When Mona and (sister / co-owner) Talena retired in July of 2023, I purchased the business so that Providence Design could live on. I’m honored to be a part of Providence’s next chapter, and I’m committed to making sure that we continue to shine. ~ Kimberly

ZAC - LEAD DESIGNER

Zac was a member of the Providence team when Mona and Talena first brought our showroom to life. He worked alongside “the sisters” for 5 years before accepting a position with another local design company. He returned to Providence several years later to lead design projects. In his 12+ years in the design industry, Zac has gained a great deal of exposure to beautiful design and different design perspectives. He has an impressive ability to create beauty wherever he goes, not only as a designer but as a talented artist as well. His original artwork is on display in our showroom and can be customized upon request.
